Now more than ever, you are needed to donate your old blankets, towels, and sheets to your local animal shelter. With financial cut-backs, repairs on shelters are often put off, so if it's drafty, the animals suffer. I know my shelter uses rags to stuff under doors. No kidding! Empty out those closets... this is your chance to get rid of stuff and do something useful!

Wolf and Coyote Trapping is Inhumane

I have a hard time looking at pictures like this one, but if you are in North Carolina, you can do something about this. Recently a dog was caught in a trap and had its leg mangled. It's not the first time.
Trapping in general is pretty nauseating.

They are voting on Tuesday so if you live in NC, please make a call or two. It takes five minutes.
