Now more than ever, you are needed to donate your old blankets, towels, and sheets to your local animal shelter. With financial cut-backs, repairs on shelters are often put off, so if it's drafty, the animals suffer. I know my shelter uses rags to stuff under doors. No kidding! Empty out those closets... this is your chance to get rid of stuff and do something useful!

Army Won!

Thanks to the hard work of Eyes Of An Angel Pet Rescue, this senior "Old" English Bulldog has been rescued out of a high-kill shelter, and will be fostered and adopted.  Go here for his story and to contribute to his temporary care.

Thank You, God, and the entire rescue community, many of whom pitched in to find Army a home.

Army - as he is leaving the shelter.

EYES OF AN ANGEL DOG & CAT RESCUE, INC. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Charitable Organization whose volunteers are dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption of unwanted shelter animals that would otherwise be euthanized. Volunteers in the east coast Miami-Dade area, as well as the west coast Naples/Ft. Myers area work together so that as many animals as possible can be saved and ultimately adopted into loving homes. We do not have a shelter facility. All of our available dogs are cared for by volunteer foster families. Please be advised that all of our dogs are rescued from euthanasia at the shelter. We believe every animal deserves a safe and loving home, however we do not accept stray or owner surrender animals and our focus remains on shelter rescue.
