Now more than ever, you are needed to donate your old blankets, towels, and sheets to your local animal shelter. With financial cut-backs, repairs on shelters are often put off, so if it's drafty, the animals suffer. I know my shelter uses rags to stuff under doors. No kidding! Empty out those closets... this is your chance to get rid of stuff and do something useful!

Meet Miley (who used to be known as Smiley)

Thanks to Noah's Art Rescue, this dog is being given a chance.

Remember Smiley? She was used in dog fighting and had the terrible scars to prove it.
(Scroll down to middle of the original post to read about her). But Noah's Ark Rescue stepped in, and gave her the gift of life.

Well, now she's Miley! And she "had some work done!"

This is the fine group that takes these difficult cases in, gets them treatment, rehabilitates them, and places them in the right home.  Please take a moment to say thanks with even a small contribution (I just made a gift, as I do with many of the causes I ask you to give to).

From Noah's Ark Rescue's website:

NAR is 100% funded by your donations. Without you, we could not help all the animals we do. We are the last ray of hope for the animals we rescue. We take in those that society has forgotten. All of your donations go to this cause. We are volunteers and do not take any funds for our service. Our reward is seen in the eyes of the animals we help. Please, help us help them, by donating. All donations are tax deductible.

Noah’s Arks Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit.

Thank you to Noah's Ark Rescue!!
